1. Your personal data – what is it?
Personal data relates to a living individual who can be identified from that data.  Identification can be by the information alone or in conjunction with any other information in the data controller’s possession or likely to come into such possession. The processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”). For further details on how we use your personal data please see our privacy notice.

2. Who are we?
Romania International Children’s Foundation (RICF) is the data controller (contact details below).  This means it decides how your personal data is processed and for what purposes.

3. Responding to requests for a copy of personal data held.
RICF acknowledges that unless subject to an exemption under the GDPR, individuals have the right to request a copy of their own personal data which RICF holds about them.

RICF will honour such requests, providing an electronic or printed copy of personal data held by RICF on its database as requested by the individual making the request, within 28 days of the request being received. In order to ensure the request is indeed coming from the individual for whom the data is held we would ask that the request be sent from an email address already known to RICF, for example already receiving email updates or that the request be made in writing providing sufficient information to verify your identity.

4. Contact Details

To exercise all relevant rights, queries or complaints please in the first instance contact RICF by email at admin@ricf.net or in writing to RICF at 53 Park Spring Drive, Sheffield, S2 3QS.
