Staff Team

RICF’s work is carried out by a team of dedicated and committed Romanian staff, under the leadership of its General Director.

	Ovidiu, General Director   Email: ovidiu.ferent@ricf.net He joined RICF’s team in March 2005. Ovidiu is married. He has a bachelor degree in social work and a Masters in social policy and management of mass-media. 'Working at RICF is a positive challenge, which gives me the opportunity to help people in need and serve our community.'
	Mona, Social Worker Email: mona@ricf.net Mona joined RICF’s team in October 2008. She is married, with a bachelor degree in social work. 'Working at RICF I feel I can lend a helping hand in meeting the various needs of children at risk. I have come to work for RICF because I love children and want to help them overcome their difficult backgrounds.' 'Offer a smile to a child and you too can feel fulfilled.'
	Ioana, Social Worker Email: ioana@ricf.net Ioana joined RICF's team in January 2010. Ioana completed her bachelor degree in social work before starting her first post with RICF. She feels that working for RICF gives her a real opportunity to support some of Romania's most vulnerable children. She is happy to be able to be part of a team who she feels can bring about real positive change and support families in Romania.
	Simona, Psychologist Email: simona@ricf.net Simona joined RICF in July 2009. Simona completed her studies in Psychology and Sociology before joining the RICF team. She hopes that her studies and previous experience can help her support the children and families who we care for and give them a reason to smile. 'The only successful adventure in life is to offer your neighbour happiness.'
	Vali, Accountant Vali joined RICF’s team in January 2009. She has a law degree and experience in administration and management.
	Lidia, Foster Carer Lidia joined RICF’s team in June 2008. Married and with 8 children of her own, she fosters a teenage boy who is the same age as her youngest daughter.
	Gheorghita, Foster Carer Gheorghita joined RICF’s team in June 2008. Married, with no children of her own, she fosters two brothers.
	Florentina, Foster Carer Florentina joined RICF’s team in June 2008. She has one child of her own and fosters a boy.
	Vera, Foster carer Vera joined RICF's team in August 2009. She is married with a 10 year old daughter and fosters a baby girl.
	Maria, Foster carer Maria joined RICF in September 2009. In addition to her own 8 year old daughter Maria now cares for a baby girl through our foster care programme.
	Georgeta, Foster carer Georgeta joined our team in October 2009. She has two grown up children of her own and now fosters a young boy with RICF.
	Felicia, Foster carer Felicia joined RICF in November 2010. She is married with one daughter of her own and now fosters a three year old boy.
	Geanina, Foster carer Geanina joined RICF in November 2010. She is marred with no children of her own and now cares for a young boy.
	Paula, Foster carer Paula joined our team in November 2010. She is married with a son of her own and fosters another young boy with RICF.
