Suzie is a founding member of FICR and has been a Board member since 1999. She is also the chair and founder of the UK registered charity RICF.
She was born in England, and first visited Romania in 1994 when she was 17 years old. Motivated by her Christian faith, and by the evident need, she set up the UK charity RICF (1997) and the Romanian foundation FICR (1999) to offer abandoned and orphaned children the chance of experiencing family life.
Suzie studied medicine at Cambridge University, and is now working part-time as a doctor in family practice. She also works voluntarily for RICF and FICR. Suzie and her husband David have a daughter called Abigail and a son called Samuel.
