Suzie is a founding member of RICF and has been a Board member since 1999. She is also the chair and founder of the UK registered charity JLR.
She was born in England, and first visited Romania in 1994 when she was 17 years old. Motivated by her Christian faith, and by the evident need, she set up JLR (1997) and then RICF (1999) to offer abandoned and orphaned children the chance of experiencing family life.
Suzie studied medicine at Cambridge University, and is now working part-time as a doctor in family practice. For the rest of the time, she works voluntarily for RICF and JLR. Suzie and her husband David have a daughter called Abigail
